To perform a search it is necessary
to set search conditions (in the left table) and mark features that should
be shown in results (in the right table). Explanatin for the parameters
are listed below.
Class class of the RE (Alu, LINE HERV or SVA).
Family RE family.
Accession accession number in NCBI GenBank database containing
RE insertion (if applicable) or preintegration site.
Chromosome chromosome number.
Neighboring gene name of the neighboring gene (protein coding genes taken from the mRNA
reference sequences collection (RefSeq) compiled at NCBI).
Gene location RE location regarding to the gene (downstream, upstream
or in the gene intron).
Orientation orientation of RE regarding to transcription direction
of the gene.
Frequency average RE containing allele frequency in studied human populations
(if applicable) low lower than 25%, intermediate between 25 and
75%, high grater than 75%.
Primers oligonucleotide primers used for PCR amplification to detect allele state
(if applicable).
Browser link link to the fragment in UCSC Human Genome Browser containing
RE Insertion or preintegration site.
Sequence nucleotide sequence of the retroelement.
Direct repeat nucleotide sequence of direct repeat (target site duplication) forming due
to RE insertion into genome.
Reference reference to the article were particular RE were first studied.
