Various pathogens of viral, bacterial, and fungal origin as well as pests strongly affect potatoes, the most widespread agricultural plant in Russia. The present paper deals with the development and characteristics of the FLASH-based diagnostic kits, which provide fast and accurate detection of main potato pathogens in soil and plant samples with the minimum contamination risk of the working area by PCR products. © Wageningen Academic Publishers.
