The functionalization of the fluorescent hydrocarbon 9,10-bisphenylethynylanthracene to afford its dihydroxylbutyl derivative was developed. Based on this pseudonucleoside, the phosphoramidite and a solid-phase carrier were obtained and used for the preparation of oligonucleotides containing a new fluorescent label for biopolymers.
